- In any case, the maximum liability of Atypical Academy shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Student for the specific Service in question.

3. Enrolment & Account Policy
- Registration: Students are required to provide accurate and complete details during the enrolment process. False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in suspension or cancellation of enrolment without refund.
- Minors: Students under the age of 18 must register with the explicit involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who will be deemed responsible for the Student’s use of the Services.
- Non-Transferability: Enrolment and Services are non-transferable. A Student cannot transfer their account, course access, or learning materials to another individual, whether free of cost or for monetary consideration.
- Termination of Account: Atypical Academy reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts in case of breach of these Terms, fraudulent enrolment, non-payment, or misuse of Services.
4. Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Payments: Course fees must be paid through authorised payment gateways available on the Website. Payments can be made in full or in instalments, where such an option is offered. Any taxes, levies, or additional charges applicable under Indian law will be borne by the Student.
- Refunds: Refunds are governed strictly by the Terms of Sale Policy. Generally, once a course has been activated or materials accessed, refunds will not be issued except under limited circumstances (e.g., incorrect enrolment, technical inaccessibility). Refunds, where approved, will be credited back via the original payment method within prescribed timelines.
- Cancellations: Students may request cancellation of enrollment prior to activation of Services. Such requests must be submitted in writing to product@atypicalacademy.in. Post-activation cancellations may not be eligible for refunds unless explicitly stated in the refund policy.
- Default in Payments: Failure to adhere to instalment schedules may result in suspension of course access until payments are regularised.
5. Use of Content & Intellectual Property
- All course content, including lectures, videos, test papers, PDFs, presentations, graphics, and online resources, is the exclusive intellectual property of Atypical Academy.
- Students are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the content solely for personal educational purposes.
- Prohibited actions include:
- Copying, distributing, or sharing content with third parties.
- Recording or redistributing live or recorded lectures.
- Using study material for commercial or competitive purposes.
- Any violation of intellectual property rights may result in immediate termination of access and legal proceedings under applicable laws.
6. Third-Party Links & Advertisements

- Atypical Academy does not control or guarantee the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites. Transactions conducted on such sites are solely between the Student and the third party.
- Students are advised to exercise caution before engaging with third-party services and acknowledge that Atypical Academy is not liable for losses arising from such engagements.
7. Student Code of Conduct
- Students must conduct themselves in a respectful and disciplined manner during online/offline classes, group discussions, webinars, and forums.
- Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:
- Use of abusive, defamatory, or obscene language.
- Disrupting classes or misusing chat/forum features.
- Harassing faculty, staff, or fellow Students.
- Misconduct may result in temporary suspension, permanent expulsion, or reporting to authorities, depending on the severity of the violation.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Atypical Academy shall not be responsible for:
- Internet connectivity failures, device malfunctions, or technical issues on the Student’s end.
- Examination results, admission decisions, or academic outcomes.
- Losses due to unauthorised access of accounts arising from negligence in safeguarding login details.
- Our liability in any case shall not exceed the Course Fee paid for the specific Service.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atypical Academy, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates against all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Services.
- Violation of these Terms.
- Infringement of intellectual property rights.
- Misconduct or unauthorised activities during your enrolment.
10. No Warranties
- All Services and content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
- Students acknowledge that internet-based learning is subject to inherent risks and Atypical Academy disclaims all liability in this regard.
11. Termination of Services
- (a) Breach of Terms & Conditions: If the Student violates or attempts to violate any provision of these Terms, Privacy Policy, or other policies incorporated herein by reference. Examples include but are not limited to: sharing login credentials, unauthorised distribution of study material, or disruption of live classes. Depending on the severity of the breach, termination may be temporary (suspension for investigation) or permanent (revocation of enrolment without refund).
- (b) Fraudulent or Unlawful Activity: If the Student engages in fraudulent enrolments, unauthorised use of payment methods, identity theft, misrepresentation of eligibility, or any illegal activity on the Website or within Academy Services. If such fraudulent activity causes harm to Atypical Academy, other Students, or third parties, the Academy reserves the right to report the matter to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities. Termination under this ground may also lead to forfeiture of all fees paid.
- (c) Non-Payment of Fees: If the Student fails to pay applicable fees in full, or defaults on instalment-based payments as per the agreed payment schedule. Atypical Academy may suspend access until dues are cleared, or terminate enrolment if payments remain outstanding. Late fee charges, if applicable, may also be levied.
- (d) Misuse of Services: If Services are misused for purposes other than academic learning, such as commercial exploitation, recording and redistribution, or attempting to damage the Academy’s systems and reputation. Misuse may also include harassment of faculty, staff, or fellow students.
- (e) Legal or Regulatory Requirement: If Atypical Academy is directed by any competent authority, regulatory body, or court order to restrict or terminate a Student’s access.
- (f) Security Concerns: If Atypical Academy reasonably believes that continued access by the Student poses a security risk to the Website, servers, or other Students’ data. Termination under grounds of breach, fraud, or misconduct shall not entitle the Student to any refund.
- 11.2. In case of termination due to Student misconduct, no refunds shall be provided.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, subject always to applicable arbitration clauses.
13. Policy Updates
- Atypical Academy reserves the right to update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in legal, business, or academic practices.
- Material updates will be notified through email or prominent announcements on the Website. Students are advised to periodically review these Terms to remain updated.
